Dr Yamanaka completed her medical degree (MD) in 2020. She completed her post-graduate resident training at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and has worked as a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Registrar and Orthogeriatric Rehabilitation Registrar in Brisbane and Sydney prior to commencing GP training. She has interest in all areas of general practice.

Dr Yamanaka is fluent in Japanese and intermediate level in Korean.

Dr Yamanaka is a RACGP Registrar, completing specialist GP training within the practice.
