Dr James enjoys seeing people from all backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.
Dr James obtained his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2014.
Prior to general practice, Dr James spent 7 years working in metropolitan and regional hospitals. Dr James has broad experience across many areas of medicine, including heart and lung conditions, diabetes management, Gastroenterology, Older Persons’ health, and Paediatrics. Dr James is also confident recognising and managing unwell patients, with significant experience working in Intensive Care Units and Children’s Emergency Department.
Dr James was drawn to general practice by a strong passion for getting to know people and delivering high-quality patient care, with a focus on both prevention and treatment of medical conditions.

Outside of work, Dr James loves spending time with his wife & 2 young children, travelling and playing tennis.
