Dr Anna MacFarlane
MBBS (Hons), B Med Sci, FRACGP
Dr. Anna MacFarlane received her medical degree from the University of Tasmania with honours in 2008. Anna worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital, the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Holy Spirit Northside and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane before embarking on a career in general practice.
Dr Anna gained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2015 and she joined Ashgrove Clinic in 2018. Anna holds an academic title from the University of Queensland as a senior lecturer and is an accredited registrar supervisor for the RACGP.
Dr Anna strives to deliver care that is both evidence-based and tailored to individual values and circumstances. She enjoys getting to know her patients and appreciates the trust built through long term care.
Outside of work, Dr Anna loves travel, dinners out, and spending time with her young family.
