Dr Michelle Ledbury

BM MRCP (UK) ClinDipPallMed FRACGP

Michelle is a UK trained doctor who graduated with Bachelor of Medicine (BM 2005) from the University of Southampton on the south coast of England, before completing her post graduate physician training in London (MRCP 2009).

Since moving to Brisbane in 2011, she has worked in the hospital, community and general practice settings. She obtained her FRACGP in 2018 and due to her background physician training, she has particular interests in chronic disease management, multi-morbidity, diabetes, aged and palliative care. Michelle visits a local nursing home once a week and also holds a clinical diploma (ClinDipPallMed 2013) in palliative medicine. In more recent years she has developed an additional interest in antenatal care and paediatrics.

Michelle enjoys the 'whole person approach' to general practice and as a mother of two young children appreciates the importance of continuity and getting to know the whole family. Michelle loves spending time with her young family outside of work but also enjoys the gym, climbing, trekking and travelling when the opportunity arises!
